At Lakefront Family Dentistry, we want you to know that we’re here for you. If you have a toothache, we always fit you in the same day. And we don’t have a traditional lunch hour. We know that your lunchtime may be the most convenient time for you to come see us. Or, maybe you’re concerned about your child missing too much school. We can see him or her during lunch, so he or she can get back to school and you can get back to work.

Our thorough, routine exams, which we recommend you have every six months, are designed to get you directly involved with your treatment.

The Treatment Process
Your treatment begins the moment you enter our office. There’s no need for you to sign in. Our friendly staff will greet you personally and take you on a tour of the office. You’ll see where the instruments are professionally sterilized. You’ll visit the operatories. You’ll be introduced to Dr. Hauser’s high-tech equipment, which ensures your appointments are faster and more gentle than any dental visit you’ve experienced in the past.

You’ll be given some privacy while you fill out a little paperwork. If you’ve already filled out the paperwork at home, you’ll be ushered to the next available operatory. In general, the wait time for you to be seen by Dr. Hauser is no more than 15 minutes. We respect that your time is important to you. So we do everything we can to make your visit quick and enjoyable.

One of Dr. Hauser’s assistants will take full mouth X-rays and write down everything they see. Then, you’ll be introduced to Dr. Hauser. He’ll ask why you’ve come and what your desires are for your teeth. Then, he’ll take you on a tour of your mouth using an intraoral camera. That means, if there are areas of concern, he can point them out to you on a TV monitor. Not only will he enter all of the information into his computer, but he’ll itemize what’s going on with your teeth and what needs to be done in order of importance. This becomes your game plan.

Together with Dr. Hauser, you can decide what’s most important and do the work in phases. Or, depending on what needs to be done, you may be able to do it all in one more appointment. What’s most important is that you get the quality care you deserve on a schedule that works for you and the health of your teeth.
